What is SPAM?
Currently the most controversial and heated issue on the web!
Malicious Spammers vs The Anti-SPAMMING Militants!
Who's right and who's wrong?
The fact is, there is no Federal law on the books, YET
against spamming.
Regardless, there are thousands of individuals hell bent on
stopping SPAM mail
by using their own methods of self righteousness.
Personal privacy is being invaded and personal rights are being violated
on BOTH
sides of the issue. The only solution so far has been vigilante style
justice.
As Jesse Berst, Editorial Director at one ZDNet states in a recent
article, "In the days of
the Wild West, pioneers often had to take the law into their own hands.
The same holds true for these early days of the Web and the fight
against Spam."
As much as I
dislike getting truly SPAMMED, I would not advise anyone to take the law
into their own hands, period!
SPAMMING is
fast becoming a major problem on the Internet, and the time wasted
sending, trying to manage and reporting SPAM is outrageous..
There
is a problem! and 95% of the time it is due to lack of education
and
net-quitte. Newbie's coming on line and BLASTING thousands of e-mails
blindly hoping to get rich!
It just
doesn't work. NO ONE should do business with spammers.
This site is
dedicated to de-fusing the SPAM issue, educating the overly eager
marketer who just doesn't know any better and cooling off the vicious
anti-spammer types who arrogantly assumes that everyone is as
knowledable as they and the militant anti-spammers who are eager to
punish the sender of ANY mail to their address, even if it's an honest
accident.
We also support any State & Federal Laws against
true SPAMMING.
There needs to be protection for BOTH parties.
This is the biggest problem. Nobody seems to know what
spam mail really is, or if they do, it's their own interpretation of a
non-existent law. Some states in the US have anti-spamming laws, but how
are these enforced worldwide?
